Fighting against bots and sybil. Building the sustainable growth layer for web3. Exploring memecoins and arts.
The future of airdrops is being handcrafted at @kytelabs
who wants some alpha 👀
Eliminate the sybils
Take Sybil's allocation and distribute to the most active high quality user who are most likely to continue using the protocol/app
Farmers - cap max no. of wallets for them like between 3-6 is a fair number imo or whatever project heads decide
Rest of the allocations of farmers, redistribute it again to high quality real users
Idk why most protocols fuck this up so bad, either I see them giving away majority of the airdrop % to industry level Sybils (10s of thousands of wallets) and multi-account farmers (in tens/hundreds/thousands of wallets) And/or Doing the Sybil filtering so terribly that it affects most of the real users and fuck up the community sentiments
In both the cases after listing, tokens get jeeted of by Sybils and in the latter case by the real users as they lose their trust in the project due to terrible airdrop. And as a result the protocol/dapp cannot retain high majority of their users after the drop.
This is what our team at Kytelabs is invested in, building a protocol in the intersection of growth, incentives and Sybil/bot mitigation.
Super excited to soon announce what we have been experimenting since the last 2 years.
spending Rs 10k on some waste irl like unnecessary shopping or food orders feels very heavy like losing a lot of money than compared to losing the same $120 onchain in some memecoin or something
Onchain money doesn't hurt when lost
But it lights you up when you gain the same
