We will see a LOT of WOMEN founders build a business starting on LENS!!!! read my story plsssss
ngl it's super exciting to see Lens going permissionless. It's been so cool to be here with y'all. wen i started here i was a bit lost. it's always hard to create content on new platforms, u need to find ur audience, and the "thing" that's gonna work.
didn't take it super seriously at first, but then I understood that i was bringing value to people on Lens. i think i was making them laugh.
wat first started as a joke is becoming a business. wen people ask me what my job is, i answer "i sell fries on-chain" - but seriously @jessyfries is my job. no one understands how much work i put in.
I sold 91 super follow badges for 20 wmatics each, it's not much but it takes a lot of work
but i did it all on @lens and i'm grateful for the Lens team for giving me the opportunity to build a new social media experience. thanks for believing in me and supporting me through calls and also financially. Because @jessyfries is an art performance on-chain, and art isn't just necessarily images or videos. thank you for investing time in creators. It's so important!
thank you @bradorbradley @stani @nader
from outside it looks like i post dumb shit all the time, which is true lmao, but it takes hours of research, hours of engaging online and building a community, and it takes a lot of courage too. sometimes i'm scared. i worry about my safety. Because people can get upset and be mean when a girly girl expresses her thoughts in this space.
I received a lot of criticism on my project cause some people don't get the "fries" thing, and don't like the fact that i'm outspoken and also cause I don't put up with their shit. I will ALWAYS speak my mind. plus i'm feminist to the max and i don't hide it.
honestly, i get it, i built a controversial persona. This persona, JessyFries, critiques the crypto bro influencers on CT. So, hating on me as a crypto bro essentially means hating on yourself. I'm just a reflection of these guys as a girl.
IMPORTANT: if in 2024 we don't invest in women in crypto and instead continue empowering crypto bros, then we're def. not gonna make it. i believe it's time to change and start investing in women founders, artists, creators, thinkers, builders....
please check what all these women are building and INVEST in their projects. cause we need YOUR support, and most importantly your FINANCIAL support. we're not just having a hobby, we're building BUSINESSES
@cmn__ @cybershakti @punkess @arterlioz @iamlosi @zospours @chelsea @tinyrainboot @salti
i want to finish this by thanking the @orbapp team too, i mean @kipto has been super helpful, always trying to bring more value to my project Jessyfries - and i appreciate that.
also thanks to the @phaver team - hi @chriscomrie @saskasandholm @dollowen @poolboy @joonatan the creator program and how your rewarded us all during NFT Paris was next level cool! You really made me feel valued for all the time and effort i invested creating and building on Phaver/Lens.
I hope I can also be an example for future creators on Lens. i'm always open to answer questions to explain how i created my community and used the super follow badge on @hey to monetize it - hi @yoginth
anyways it's just the beginning. this year i'm gonna show everyone how we can build a business starting on the Lens protocol lmao.
