How does it work?

• Swell supports atomic deposits, allowing users to deposit ETH to the validator of choice

• To "liquify" non-fungible stakes, they mint & return an NFT, (swNFT)

• swNFT contains swETH + information about the stake

• swNFT is exchanged 1:1 to swETH

Roles on Swell:

• Node Operator: min. 16 ETH required

• Staker: min. 1 staked ETH

What's the current stage of the project?

• The staking paused since October

• The team will launch it again in early 2023

• There was an issue with 2 validators on September. As they are fixing the issue (no loss of funds) the roadmap has been pushed a few months.

What do we know about the $SWELL token?

• $SWELL was confirmed on Discord

• Their website says "Community-driven protocol", indicating a DAO structure

• As always: it's about using the protocol (contributing to its development)

• The staking is now paused, but after the re-launch, we will be able to use it

They allocated 4,000,000 to early adopters (holders & stakers of stETH). This was 0.4% of the total supply, on the lower end.
