I always take notes / highlight lines that resonate from what I’m reading (it’s why anything I read is conversed in scribbles and notes) - here’s todays highlights from Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin :

“She could tell you exactly what was wrong with any game, but she didn't necessarily know how to make a great game herself. There is a time for any fledgling artist where one's taste exceeds one's abilities.
The only way to get through this period is to make things any-way.”

“The way he saw it, he would be proposing to Sadie. He would be getting down on one knee and saying, "Will you work with me? Will you give me your time, and will you trust my hunch that this time will be well spent? Will you believe that we could make great things together?"

A lot of people will do similar things in daily, eg. bookmark something on X, YT or any social app, but they will never come back to see it.

        • I literally do the same! Love to have them as reminders, to go back to them from time to time and understand the message even better!

I can genuinely read the same paragraph for a few times and each time I discover something new!🌹

I do that too from time to time, especially when I want to come back to read it again and memorize
