as far back as i remember, art started with crayons, colored pencils, paint, basically anything we were given in school. lately i've been re-visiting that feeling, though digitally. i have an entire collection i'll release sometime soon, but thought that this would be a good opportunity to put one out into the world with @lensprotocol limited free collects (:

this piece is how i feel about los angeles in the winter. trapped under a blanket that goes against all imagery you ever see of southern california. constant gloom below that you can't escape unless you leave and soar above it. i actually enjoy it down there though, driving around the city in the rain with some sinatra on the airwaves, it's a whole vibe. barely any traffic because people are afraid to drive.
