Depend which domain type. For now I'm ready to pay more for a DNS than a ENS. I use the former for my website, API services, portfolio, when the later is not useful for me.
I would say <20$/y for DNS and <10$/y for ENS (just to say that I have an ENS 😂).
For example I bought a DNS at 12$, but refused to buy a ENS at 25$ (5$+20$ network fee).
I'm not a pro, but I also don't understand why a web3 domain should cost something (except network fees). If it's part of the protocol, there is no cost (such as Lens ID which is free).
