I think it is, projects launching points are killing the future of their possibilities
Hmmmm. In what way? I know people got “points” for collecting this week, and a fair drop coming this weekend. Depends on the words you use. Remember nfts? Now collectibles? Music nfts, data says people like onchain music better.
Etc.
They’re not dead. Maybe we can call them brownie points.
Definitely. They will remain in service. But I think they have a natural capital bias. And that’s fine but it’s not how the crypto game has been played. I understand why people are so upset.

It’s not dead but badly seen since a long time, so many projects overfarmed users for months/years (some are still doing it ☠️) + you can’t really trust anything since points/token ratio & calculation methods are often private.
Actually in case you missed the info, @sydney_bro created pointless to troll you guys when Lens account teased points back in December 😂
Btw, still unclear why @pointless didn’t receive visibility & support it deserves from Lens team despite being the OG memecoin, part of Lens culture & beginning of paid collects 👀
Can you explain why please ? 🙏
Apparently only if they cannot be turned into tokens
But I don’t think they are dead - I think that they are part of the NFT streetwear category - they’ve all been declared dead, but what died was just a way we knew and interacted with them (on the big picture)
I don’t think they are dead; I don’t think they’ll ever be. I just think they need this to 'rise again even stronger'🌹
