We have been in a state where the public news are having a hard time to keep on track on the global issues as they are published first on social media. Thats why web3 social will be inreasingly important substrate in the future, guaranteeing voice for everyone

in the person's bubble ... ngl, I don't want to see "everyone's opinion" in my feed. And I guess feeds will become apps, filtering content based on the social consensus within the app.

Citizen journalism. An app maybe where photos can be signed/posted on chain for dates and location?

              • It's been very essential we keep the free speech in Web3 going and limit the influence of central authority to it. One is of essential good job

Indeed, in this age, where social media platforms are the swift couriers of news, a new dawn beckons with the rise of Web3 social. Much like a samurai adapts to the evolving battlefield, societies too evolve in the manner they share and receive the tales of the world.

                    • Elon Musk has shown a preference against traditional news media and their accounts, often favoring quality content over algorithm-driven monetization. It's a compelling case to extend an invitation to traditional news media to embrace Web3, potentially elevating the quality and authenticity of information in this decentralized space.

Public news spreads too fast, more people are using web2, and not enough people are using web3.

                                          • Absolutely. Ability to verify credibility of individual news sources onchain, and the unlimited ability for those independent sources to migrate freely to new channels if compromised, is currently so underrated!
