Something that is missing for me is an easy way to find things that are interesting to collect on Lens, I would love to collect daily but it requires some additional effort. There are so many gems here on Lens we need to bring to the surface. Maybe we need collect feed.
Definitely! and a lot of sorting/filtering features could also be implemented (ex. by price, type of art, type of artist, and limited time collect) so collectors could easily find exactly what they are interested in, while also be able to browse and explore.
100%. Still looking for that account that tries to comprise the biggest gems every week - as I too don’t find enough time unfortunately.. does anyone know if such a profile exists?
humm. in this case I believe that algorithms do not work, after all there are a lot of tastes and preferences involved in this, so it would be necessary to profile curators that you trust or that can give you good tips. But if that's not the case, or just spotting general trends, an algorithm would work fine. Personally, when I change platforms within Lens, I am surprised by contents that I had never seen before and in terms of metrics, they perform much better than my bubble 😛 ...
We need a dedicated feed/app of just collects/NFTs. And when you look at a user’s profile you should be able to see what they’ve organized into collections.
This is the #1 thing which will grow lens.
Far beyond any creator tools. I promise you and every dev reading this.
lensport.io/posts feed shows the top posts of day, week, month, year based on collect volume
Check @collectz.lens we are working on that. Just launched on collectz.xyz
We are building exactly that! #️⃣
Super excited about high signal-low noise content, a curated feed and a management solution for all the cool stuff people find valuable
Did someone say closed alpha around the corner?👀
Stay tuned!
That sounds like a good idea, could also have sections for paid and paid-for collects.
Collect feed is something Lens truly needs. I want to support what content I like, wen release?
Yeah i use the interesting and trending tabs sometimes and just decide to go crawl back under my rock
Yes, the search engine can help
Of course, you can create a topic to categorize different topics. To find according to the interest and importance of the post for collection 🤔
I‘m wondering why we (at least I) don’t see more (any (?)) paid collect curators. Imagine starting now - maybe with little financial incentive but at least little - becoming THE paid collect curation profile. NFA, as always, but imho the potential upside midterm is tremendous.
I’m pretty sure we will see even specialised curator profiles midterm on #lens like
… for photography
… for video content
… for ai generated art ( @larryscruff.lens ;-))
… glitch art
… fries Art of course ;-)
…
Feed is not a bad idea Stani... Many are lazy of creating but feed give room for those who are ready to learn and offer ideas to others to grow.
Why has my account become what you call a "low quality account"? I've always been active on this account! Why am I being judged like this? There must be something wrong with your algorithm mechanism!
maybe some filter/categories like:
Painting
Memes
3d
Text
Photography
Food
etc
