Web3 project does not need to have a Discord server just because its a web3 project, in fact I think you could build a community within Lens and have a more decentralized approach that way
The only thing that I find discord servers useful is that people join then to get role for airdrop
100% agreed - can't wait for Lens community to take off as the norm for engagement. As a web3 marketer, it's a nightmare jumping between web2<>3 tools, not to mention the limited ways to know more about the project audience...
Hopefully long are the days when your Discord following mattered to VCs
big agree - @lensclubs.lens will enable this. also working on a Discord integration to make a smooth transition 😌
The form of the community can be designed according to a whole set of independent system, a solution of instant communication is not limited to the form of DC
I completely agree. In fact, it would be great if almost every web3 developer whom is creating something in the web3 ecosystem, have their presence in Lens ecosystem. Stani, can people create Lens profiles freely or we are not in that point yet?
Agree. I was previously working on a community platform, mity.xyz (currently using DeSo) with the plan of building it more into a platform like Discord (I.e bots, integrations). Still think it would be nice. At least would be a start to switch it to Lens.
I agree!!! Would it be possible to build a community here within Lenster?
It seems that in a couple of years we will have a whole new degen grinding culture and the culture of community building, like the suddenly established Discord WL grinding meta In 2021.
And this culture will emerge through Lens and Dapps built on it.
This is my prediction. Thank you for your attention.
In the world of cryptocurrencies, most assets will follow the trend of Bitcoin for a long time, and Bitcoin will also follow the trend of larger traditional financial markets such as US stocks or gold for some time. But at some point, especially when Bitcoin is facing the end of its rise or fall, there will be some tokens showing a trend independent of the rise and fall of Bitcoin; A short-lived move away from correlation with Bitcoin.
But a similar situation will not last for too long, and tokens with independent market prices will return to the trend of high correlation with Bitcoin prices. For example, when Bitcoin is rising slightly, some tokens have risen sharply due to good news, and then Bitcoin has a sideways trend. Sideways. At this time, traders can choose to be long Bitcoin and short the token at the same time. If the market eventually returns to high correlation, they can obtain higher profits, and if one party deviates from the trend, they can also hedge to reduce losses.
Lens is cool but it is lacking many of the features that make managing a community so great in Discord
i simply cannot argue with this opinion, still i love Discord in terms of mic chat when playing multiplayer games lol
