I think it really depends on your budget. If you can afford it, then yes, it's definitely a valuable extra. If you can't afford it, then it's not a goos idea to get in debt for it.
I had the same question in 2019. Instead I invested the MBA fund into crypto and started learning to code online for free. As you could imagine that was a good decision so far :) kek
It’s only 3 years. Depends on where you go and friends you make along the way. How much you pay and time not spent on other pursuits.
I think worth
More valuable management knowledge and connections with business and people
The value of an MBA is 100% the network you develop -- that's all there is to it IMO.
That network can be very powerful for some, or fairly worthless for others.
Only if someone really needs you to hold the piece of paper. Not for the learning
Not anymore. The biggest advantage it had for me was changing my perspective. It helped me to look at businesses from different angles. But with the changing education paradigm through YouTube and web3, anyone can have access to this knowledge online.
I don't think so. The most valuable element of getting an MBA is the network vs. the actual content. I believe MBAs are overpriced vs. the return. It's a serious time commitment. Many programmes are too generic. I guess a lot depends as well on where you get an MBA. Too many people approach an MBA as a medal they can add on LinkedIn. I've hired hundreds of people over my career and I always valued experience, ability to bounce back on challenges, emotional intellignence and 'street smarts' as more valuable vs. an MBA. In many countries MBAs are also more of a sign of moms and pops having the financial capacity to pay for an MBA for their children.
