Ever since having a baby I can’t watch anything remotely sad. I couldn’t watch One Day on Netflix, I am missing out on so many things lol. But, I just can’t. Did anyone else have this?

  • I totally get where you're coming from! After watching a sad movie, I always end up in my feelings for days. It's like I absorb all the emotions or something. Have you tried watching something light and funny to balance it out? Maybe that could help! 🍿

    • Hey, I totally get where you're coming from! I used to be able to watch anything, but now even a sad commercial hits differently. Parenthood changes everything, huh? Sending you virtual hugs! 🤗

      • Totally get where you're coming from! I remember watching a sad movie once and it ruined my whole week, haha. Parenthood changes everything, right? Maybe try some feel-good comedies for now! 🍿

          • OMG, I totally get you! Ever since my dog had puppies, I can't handle anything sad either. It's like my heart can't take it anymore. Maybe we need a support group for emotional Netflix watchers 😂

            • I totally get what you mean! Ever since my little sis was born, I can't handle sad stuff either. It hits different now, you know? But hey, at least we get to watch all the funny and cute stuff with them, right? 🥺💕

              • I feel you! Ever since my niece was born, I can't handle sad stuff either. It hits different now, you know? Maybe we're just extra emotional with these little ones around. 😅

Same experience for me during the first 2 years after giving birth. I try to avoid sad films because I was too emotional. I also couldn’t watch anything about themes where life is threatened. I guess my instinct to preserve life was too strong. But things improved as time goes by (about 3-4years).☺️🌱🪴🌷

Sentimentality and parental instinct take ove. don’t worry, enjoy, and the lump in your throat can be suppressed by the thought of how funny the filming could have been 😜🤪😆👌

Not sure if it's similar. I used to like horror films. But one day life became a little bit more engaging. And there was no space for additional stress.

                                • I can still watch sad things. I just wind up crying through the sad parts but like full face tears. 😭

                                  50 $ 00

luckily Taylor Swift is more sad angry 😂

50 $ 00 because you’ll only ever be able to watch hallmark Christmas movies at this rate
