π One Year of Trust Me Bro π
Itβs hard to believe it's been a year since the launch of the Trust Me Bro on Lens Protocol. As most of good projects the idea started in the trenches of Lens comments. S/o to @punkess for the inspo.
While Ryan Fox stepped down from the project in October 2023, @iamtherealyakuza has continued to build and grow the project and community.
From humble beginnings, Trust Me Bro has evolved into a platform for onchain news, culture, tech, decentralised social media, and of course, beer.
Highlights:
Community Growth: Boasting 7,326 followers, 232 follows, and a total of 3,340 publications, including 449 posts, 657 mirrors, 2,036 comments, and 227 quotes.
Buttrfly Spaces: Hosted ~20 Spaces on Buttrfly with special guests such as @cybershakti, @arterlioz, @jamesfinnerty, @cmn__, @nicogallardo, @nicocapital, @0xtommythomas, @grams, @ruthless, @lensvoice, Carlo Moretti from NFT Rome, @eduardmsmr, @chriscomrie, the @buttrfly team, @simonj and @1_cryptoman!
- A special shoutout to Carla Monni, James Finnerty, Ruthless, Tommy Thomas and @0xmoe for helping Yakuza co-hosting the spaces in several shows.
Creators Support: We launched 25 Trusted Talent contests with several topics from Music, to AI Art, Photography, Memes and so on. Most likely we are one of the first projects on Lens rewarding the Creators out of our poor treasury (remember WMATIC?) π
Content Creation: We published 39 newsletters, 18 podcasts, and participated in countless discussions across platforms like Lens, Farcaster and X. We're also present on Paragraph, Pods and Instagram.
Early Adoption: Pioneered the use of @bonsai and secured our first-ever paid partnership with @siborg this year.
it ain't much, but it's honest work and this was only the first year!
With that being said, we just want to say a huge thanks to each and everyone of you whoβs has been supporting the TMB along the way.
