React Native developer (remote) - Phaver](https://kleoverse.com/))
Phaver](https://phaver.com/)) is creating a web3 social app and is currently the largest app on Lens Protocol,](https://lens.xyz/),) the new decentralized social graph built by the Aave team. With 150k beta users and stable growth, Phaver is well positioned to offer a more fair alternative to Twitter and other web2 socials where users genuinely own their data on-chain and are rewarded for contributing by the in-app token system.

⭐️ Latest Milestones: Phaver hits 150k Downloads ⭐️

📱Latest features:

  • NFT profile Pics
  • Video Support on feed
  • Switch-view of individual Lens frontend feeds (ORB, Lenster, Lenstube and more.)

Phaver’s decentralized social app brings you the best of web3 without the complex UX that usually comes along with it. Easily access all the content posted on Aave’s new Lens Protocol social graph on your phone, or make your own on-chain posts and follows by connecting a Lens NFT profile on Phaver. Additional on-chain enhancements include connecting your NFTs to unlock verified profile pics and gated topics to post into as well as improving your reputation with assets like soulbound tokens or POAPs. Early users also earn outsized rewards in the form of the platform’s upcoming token which has helped Phaver hit 150k downloads and over 30k daily active users in 8 months.

  • First native iOS & Android app live on Lens Protocol by Aave
  • 50% of total Lens traffic in November
  • Beta release has organically hit 150k installs and 30k+ DAU in 6 months
  • Global, experienced team of 17 with HQ in Finland

We are a remote first company and are looking for a full-time React Native developer to join our growing international team. Majority of the team is based in Europe and we prefer hires located in similar time zones for ease of communication.

The role’s seniority can be tailored depending on your experience but sadly we don’t have yet the resources to guide beginners.

Job start Q1/2023.

Phaver’s tech stack

Tech stack is based mainly on TypeScript and React. This has allowed all team members to contribute to each component.

  • API layer uses Hasura GraphQL, PostgreSQL and Node.js
  • Mobile app uses React Native, Apollo
  • Static site uses Next.js
  • Interacting with blockchain via Ethers and Lens smart contracts
  • Recommendation engine (only Python-based service)
  • Services deployed to Google Cloud Kubernetes engine

React Native developer role

You would develop our React Native app, jointly or independently implementing new business-critical features that improve the experience for our users. Native iOS and Android development experience is a bonus but not required.

Tasks that you would be working on

  • Displaying near infinite amounts of user-created content in a performant manner.
  • Syncing internal and server-side state in an invisible manner.
  • Work around the mobile device limitations with the designers.

Contract

We are looking for a full-time team member and you will also be eligible for both stock option and token incentives.

Depending on your preference and location we can offer either a model where you’re paid in USD, Euros or stablecoins based on monthly billing, a localised employment contract through our partner Deel, or if based in Finland, employment by our local limited company.

Applying

You can apply or ask more questions from marlowe@phaver.com. When applying, send a short description about how you would like to help us. LinkedIn profile and GitHub repository are preferred but a traditional CV is also fine.
