Ethereum has blobs. Where do we go from here?
I read your article and now I'm more excited than ever to launch the Danksharding upgrade
Love the idea about keeping data private as default, and public where needed (i.e. DeFi markets for transparency).
This should apply to new social networking designs as well.
You've restored my hope:
"I have always argued against this: pretty much every crypto application that is not financial speculation depends on low fees - and so while we have high fees, we should not be surprised that we mainly see financial speculation!"
Although I'm still wondering, if this is true, why aren't there non-speculative products on the very cheap blockchains (like L1s, Solana, Aptos, etc.)?
Meanwhile, @vitalik, I suggest you to make your posts collectable to live up to the real opportunities of Lens's on-chain features. We would really like it!
I love this
“The ecosystem's standards need to become stricter: so far, we have been lenient and accepted any project as long as it claims to be "on a path to decentralization". By the end of the year, I think our standards should increase and we should only treat a project as a rollup if it has actually reached at least stage 1.”
