Alimo weekly newsletter 9/27/24

Happy Friday friends! Been a fun up and down week here in NYC. The weather has started to change, which got me sick somehow for the start of the season. Mon-Wednesday I was pretty beat up laying low with a cold. Feeling much better though. Outside of that, been productive where possible and getting back to 100%. Good ol' life stuff

Lets kick off the weekly recap:

- Starting off our weekly office hours that start at 11 am ET. I'll be chilling here, super casual drawing. If anyone wants to hang, i'll be here. <discord.gg/VnTGRCHVWv>

- This Saturday, I'm participating in The Canal Street show for the Subjective Festival. Stoked! Attached my piece. I'll share out more photo after the festivities

- I had a fun meeting with Transient Labs on their new Dynamic Art Engine. This is something super rad and helps support me in a variety of project ideas moving forward. The stuff this team is creating is wild!

- Finished up my commission sketches. They are all approved, now were are talking shop on sizing. Very happy with how this came out as far as direction and how it's looking. Can't wait to start this up on canvas.

- A few projects popped up this week for commercial work. I can't talk much on it yet, but really fun ideas and possible projects.

- 2025 calendar is in production. Got the final sample back and looks so dope! The packaging and general concept behind this has been a fun challenge to prototype, design, and trust my factory to create this vision. Seems so simple for just a calendar, but I will say, some are better than other, this package is rad!
