Orb is only for mobile which is impossible/hard to use with hw wallets.
Pinging @davidev.lens ,maybe he can shed some light on this issue.. but yeah I agree, there should be some way to invite friends over. I have a bunch of friends that would probably love to join, but are not currently able to do so..
