FOLLOWERSHIP
what does it mean?
According to wikipedia "Followership are the actions of someone in a subordinate role. It may also be considered as particular services that can help the leader, a role within a hierarchical organization, a social construct that is integral to the leadership process, or the behaviors engaged in while interacting with leaders in an effort to meet organizational objectives", in other words it the opposite of leadership,the ability of one ti listen and follow instructions given by a leader.
Through my few years of working in different organisations, i've gotten to understand some few things about different leaders and how to work with them to achieve the organisational goal and also create a safe working atmosphere.
Generally i categorize leaders into two groups.
leaders that want you to use your brains
leaders that don't

Procrastination
When i checked this word in the dictionary the meaning was
" to put off intentionally the doing of something that should be done"
before now i thought that being tired, stressed or occupied with work and other things was a good excuse for procrastination.
keeping some difficult or little tasks for another day is not bad.
I am tired today i'll do it first tomorrow morning.
I don't have the proper/adequate knowledge to do the task at the moment.
I'm not sure if it will yield good results.
Let me wait for others to do it first.
i'll wait till i have more money.
i'll wait till i am less busy.

Consistency most times can be a challenge one that is difficult to overcome, most times we feel reluctant when it is concerning our personal development and we tend to work hard when it comes to the development of an organisation.
There have been several times when i had to struggle to read books on self development and personal finances, but when i am been given a journal, or a topic for presentation at work Reading won't be a problem
Sometimes i feel like the problem is that i don't have enough time due to the nature of my Job, but when i closely examine my day i am either at work, or at home sleeping or just wasting hours scrolling through social media, watching netflix or playing video games.
The time we need to improve ourselves is always available but we tend to play lazy and give excuses for our own failure.
Let's take this upon ourselves and defeat the demon that lives inside us
