#GHO Liquidity Committee Update #2

📈 Results: since the inception of the first @mavprotocol uneven static boosted pool (#57), the price has been positively impacted, requiring an adjustment of the Maverick strategy

• A new strategy harnessing Merkl from @angleprotocol.lens will start tomorrow

Maverick strategy

The static, unevenly distributed boosted pool we harness acts like buy walls: as they get filled, they push the $GHO to the left, acting like a self-fulfilling prophecy [->see screen 1]

A well-dimensioned buy wall naturally called for a similar buy wall moved a few ticks to the left a few days later.
Incentives on BP#57 will not be renewed
A new BP, #59, is already available for LP to supply:

With a tighter and more concentrated range, this BP will suffice until $GHO >0.97

Uniswap v3 / Merkl Strategy

It has come to our attention that the liquidity for $GHO on @Uniswap is currently unbalanced, mostly to the sell side: [->see screen 3]

To attempt to rebalance the pool, ideally to the exact opposite (~80% USDC, 20% GHO), a campaign has been created on @angleprotocol.lens Merkl, which enables precise & customizable @Uniswap v3 incentivization.

Here are its terms:

• Starting tomorrow
• First trial of 10K / one week
• Allocated 80% based on $USDC supplied, 15% based on $GHO supplied, with a volume ponderation of 5%
• Out-of-range liquidity is not accounted for.

The committee believes a campaign with such parameters will help revert the balance of tokens in the $GHO / $USDC Uniswap pool in favor of USDC (buy-side)
