Hello, this is my first long post in Lens and I'm going to tell you the steps I've done to try to get an airdrop of the next Layer-1 that will be released soon: Sui Network.

Sui Network has confirmed that they will compensate the first users, so I'm going to give some movement to my portfolio, making some moves, minting some NFTs and some domains. All for free because we are still on Testnet.

I'm going to do it in two parts.

In the first part (this post) I will use the default wallet, Sui wallet and I will do some simple tasks.

In the second part I will use Ethos wallet to mint a NFT using AI and I will add liquidity in a protocol.

Let's go with the first part, it will be done in a moment:

• Download the official wallet from the official documentation link: docs.sui.io/devnet/explore/wallet-browser

• Install. Create an account. In the configuration of the wallet, put Network in Sui Testnet mode.

• To get some SUI join their Discord: discord.com/invite/sui

  Go to 'Testnet faucet' and type: !faucet my address

Example: !faucet 0x40c8059be6ecdfd2251544a75762e3c564d4673d

In a couple of minutes you will get enough SUI to test everything.

➡️ Task: Staking

In the wallet, click on 'Stake & Earn SUI', select any validator, set a small amount and click on 'Stake Now'.

➡️ Task: Mint a sample NFT from the wallet

In the wallet, click on Apps and 'Mint an NFT'. After that if we go to the NFTs tab we will see that we already have a sample NFT.

➡️ Task: Mint a domain

Go to sui-names.com/ and choose a name, mint it and activate it as our default name.

➡️ Create our own NFT

Search for an image on Google and copy the URL of the image.

Go to sui-wallet-demo.sui.io/

Give it a name, description and copy the URL. We create it. If we go in our wallet to the NFT tab we will see it.

All this does not ensure that we get an airdrop, because at any time they can restart the testnet and delete everything, but perhaps we are closer than ever to the end of the testnet and they take into account everything we do, as happened with the famous Aptos airdrop.
