The SEC's job is to protect investors and yet they didn’t even know to have 2FA enabled. This is more than embarrassing, it could maybe be a lie 🤥😵 😡.
Twitter, Inc. has the ability to tell us if the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is lying or not and I hope they dig in and share with us all.
Here's the logic from AutismCapital on X: "It should be very easy to see if the #SEC was actually hacked.
#elonmusk or an X staffer can check the IP logs of where the account was logged in from. If the SEC is lying they should be called out for using the X platform and/or a hacker as a scapegoat.
It’s most likely one of the guys at the SEC jumped the gun on the announcement and now they are backpedaling hard. That message was too perfectly written to be some hacker. [That message was the $BTC tweet which lead investors to think the #btcetf was approved. In fact it has not been approved (yet)]
It was likely a saved draft. Regardless it should be very easy to verify their claims. Anyone on the X team can dig in."
You can't make this stuff up, just the hashtag#sbf meme 🤣
