Hamlet's father, the King of Denmark, died suddenly, and his mother Gertrude quickly remarried the new king, Hamlet's uncle Claudius. Hamlet met his father's ghost and learned that his father was poisoned by Claudius. In order to avenge his father, Hamlet fell into deep distress and hesitation.
Hamlet pretends to be crazy to cover up his revenge plan. In the process, his relationship with his lover Ophelia becomes complicated and painful. Hamlet's behavior triggers all kinds of conspiracies and reactions inside and outside the court. In the end, almost all the characters in the play fall into the tragic fate of death.
