Apologies to any of my classmates who took my advice and invested in institutional blockchains instead of buying ETH at $300 or BTC at $2.5k, and, RIP DASH/ZEC bagholders ☠️
Degens use DeFi for 3 main reasons:
- leverage
- yield
- liquidity
No matter how much RWA you want to bring on chain, unless you can solve for those three things, there’s no incentive for anyone to hold them.
