GM ☀️
NFTs are back? They never left.
I’ve been here supporting artists while most were busy pumping meme coins 😊
GM!
The new semester at my school just started, and for some reason, more people are finding out that I love blockchain, so I’ve been getting a lot of questions.
I have to explain what this tech is everyday, but I’m happy that they are interested. It’s just a matter of time!
People often ask how I manage my time as a high school student, competitive athlete, and Web3 entrepreneur.
They wonder why I’m not burning out, but I genuinely love what I do.
For me, Web3 is more fun than video games.
While my friends play games in their free time, I thrive in the world of Web3. It's that simple.
Recently, I've been jumping on calls with amazing builders, creators, and artists.
One guy asked me why I'm supporting minority artists.
Sure, there are many more majority artists in the space, so doing business with minority artists might seem to have less potential for expansion.
But I'm not here just to make money. I'm here to build something innovative that addresses real-world issues.
Everyone knows diversity is a big issue, but many don't know how to support it.
When I was 14, I started my own video editing business. Despite my efforts, I faced judgment and criticism based on my age, which was very frustrating.
This experience inspired this project. I don't want others to face similar challenges. People shouldn't be judged based on their identity.
The reality is, we're not there yet. So I asked myself:
If not me, who?
If not now, when?
This is why I launched Iris DAO to support minority artists. I'm genuinely here to support these artists and am committed to this long-term mission.
Iris DAO is a collectors DAO dedicated to supporting minority artists with web3 tech.

Crypto has changed my world.
Going from just a high school student to meeting some of the world's most famous entrepreneurs feels like a miracle.
Days spent facing my computer at the desk in my school dormitory - those moments became the gateway to meeting people from all over the world.
Without this technology and community, I might have just been another high schooler scrolling through TikTok every day.
Now I’m building my own dao called Iris DAO to support minority artists and foster the diversity.

Being able to access a global community and exchange digital assets from anywhere in the world with just a computer is revolutionary.
I’m only 17 and not even an adult yet, but I’ve noticed that as people get older, fewer of them step out of their comfort zones to join new communities.
I’ve been pushing myself to study abroad from Japan and place myself in challenging environments. But it seems like as we age, it gets harder for many.
Our accomplishments and experiences shield us from criticism, and we tend to stick with the same familiar people.
Stepping out of our comfort zones takes courage, but it ultimately helps us grow.
Unforgettable words.
"There's no way we can trust a 14 yo kid with a job."
These were the words spoken to me when I was 14 and running a video editing business. Without even assessing my video editing skills, this person uttered these words.
Fast forward two years from that moment. No regrets whatsoever. I'm truly glad I didn't give up back then.
Now, I run my own DAO and support minority artists going through similar experiences.
Yesterday, I launched a website with information about Iris NFTs and allowlist application. This is a huge step for me as I aim to support artists with the proceeds from this NFT project.
I aim to create a world where judgment based on age, gender, or race doesn't exist.

Our mission is to bring about a revolution in the issue of diversity.
Currently, artists from various minority groups encounter barriers that hinder their full potential due to biases related to age, gender, race, and other factors.
These limitations result in unequal opportunities for minority artists, creating a significant lack of diversity.
Even my self faced criticism and hardship solely based on his age. They judged me without acknowledging his skills.
We focus on providing support to minority groups, offering new opportunities and platforms for self-expression.
In this tough bear market, we've been dedicated to building a platform that truly supports artists. We're not trying to ride any trends; we genuinely care about artists and are here to offer our support.

One year ago today, Gary Vee gave me this powerful message: "Patience." I've focused on that this past year.
Now, I have my own DAO and I'm supporting minority artists.
Can't wait to see you again, Gary!
Hey Phaver. Let me introduce myself. My name is Mark and I am a 17-year-old artist and CEO of Iris DAO.
When I was 13, I became interested in business and started a video editing business. However, people judged me based on my age, and I faced many challenges.
Undeterred, I later ventured into Web3 and founded Iris DAO to support artists struggling due to their age, gender, or race, drawing from my own experiences. I started Iris DAO with the desire to change a world where people are judged based on aspects like age, gender, and race.
In fact, I've experienced being laughed at due to my age several times, and it was incredibly tough. That's why I started this DAO with the goal of solving such issues and promoting diversity and inclusivity.
It's been almost three years since I entered Web3, and I've truly been helped by so many people. Thank you all so much, always. And now, it's my turn to give back.
Through my dedicated project, Iris DAO, I hope to help even more minority artists.
In about a month from now, we're planning to launch Iris NFT. If you're genuinely interested in joining, please let me know. Thank you.
