Funding? Big Investors invested in Orbiter and as a leading Bridge to tokenless upcoming L2s (zkSync, Linea, Base, zkEVM), Orbiter is expected to get airdropped part of the upcoming Tokens for these protocols, which either will fall back to the community, or boost the funding of $ORB.
Timeframe of Airdrop? Orbiter got their discord hacked about a month ago and willingfully compensated the community of more than 1m$. Because of that hit to their pocket i think they will still wait some time till they airdrop $ORB.
So how do we proceed?
Most other threads i read about Orbiter tell you to spend 2-3$ per transaction. The cheapest way to do transactions are bridging from BSC to Polygon with eth. 1 transaction will cost about 0.57$. (It fluctuates with the price of eth). You will need about 300-400$ in eth. I would recommend 350$. Dont worry, you will get it back by the end of this thread. You will need to bridge 500 times from Polygon to BSC and back. 500*0.57$=285$. You will also need to pay for gas fees, which at this time would be about 20$ in bnb and matic. The time of this bridging will take rather long (4-6) hours, but you can automate it with bots. (I did it by hand).
After you bridged 500+ times go to galxe.com/OrbiterFinance/campaign/GCbnmUNe9g and claim your Orbiter nfts. After you can go to opensea.io/collection/orbiter-ace-pilot-nft and sell the nfts. Currently the nfts are worth:
Ace pilot nft: 0.15eth = 280$
Expert pilot nft: 0.019eth = 35$
Elite pilot nft: 0.0065eth = 12$
total: about = 327$ in eth, so you can make even a small profit if you are lucky.
WARNING: The nfts are extremely illiquid, so it may take 1-2 weeks till a buyer picks them up and you are able to sell them. So proceed with caution and avoid big price fluctuations in eth. Remember, ethereum dumps, the price of your nfts which are priced in eth automatically dumps aswell. I would wait for a stable time in eth.
