A community lesson I've learned whilst contributing to Developer DAO is it's much better to optimise for the number of nodes in your network of impact/influence of the size of any individual nodes.

If you support many passionate folks in a low-friction way, sooner or later, some of them will have a considerable impact and lift the whole network/community with them.

This is far more achievable and scalable than scaling the impact of one individual node/person/sub-set of people.
