- Great ecosystem, lots of development and apps
- Solid user base that’s growing and active
- Lots of clients to fill niches for how you use the service
- One of the best use cases for NFTs right up there with ENS and Urbit
- Decentralized, web3 native with deep integration with open protocols like @xmtp.lens_
- Easy to grok for the normies; no instance stress and the bad UX of web3 is obfuscated well through good onboarding
But here’s the bad and these things need focused work to fix:
- Gated access. Devs know this, I won’t harp on it, but chop chop let’s get the people in here! Too good to keep secret! @stani.lens
- All the clients still suck. Slow refreshes, bugs, glitches, bad session management, features can vary wildly. The unspoken way you win this war is with performance that keeps people so engaged they can’t even blink. Milliseconds matter to hold attention.
