What is LENS PROTOCOL?
/5 Lens Protocol is a Web3 social graph on the Polygon blockchain. It is designed to allow authors to own connections between themselves and their community, forming a fully composite social graph owned by the user. The protocol is built from the ground up with modularity in mind.
/5 To briefly explain the point: Lens Protocol wants to make a layer zero for social networks, where key information is stored, such as your subscriptions, content, and the like. The Lens protocol apps add onto this layer, giving the user a web interface and other stuff.
/5 What does that mean? Conventionally, if one social network on the lens dies, all your main data remains and you can easily migrate to another product while keeping your posts/subscriptions/etc.
/5 Lens Protocol was founded by Stani Kulechov - the backer of Aave (one of the most popular liquidity protocols with TVL of $11 billion). It is unknown whether there were any investments in Lens, but the team's Twitter is very impressive - it seems all the CEOs of large funds are signed up for this project.
/5 So we keep tabs on the project and follow their development and activities in which you can participate.
