As anti-regime protests in Iran enter their eighth week, human rights group Hrana estimates 314 protesters, including 47 children, have been killed and 14,170 have been arrested by the authorities so far during the unrest.
Several members of the Iranian American Medical Association have announced their group resignation over the IAMA's refusal to support Iranian protesters and fellow physicians protesting in Iran for their basic rights on the pretext that the IAMA must remain 'apolitical'.
