People often get tribal about Bitcoin and Ethereum but they couldn't be more different.
Bitcoin: Put option on the existing financial structure (shit hits the fan scenario -- really hoping we don't need Bitcoin!)
Ethereum: Internet vNext Protocol
There's a lot of "SEC going after Circle" chatter these days but an under-appreciated perspective is that USDC has the potential to become the de-facto FedCoin. The Fed can control creation/redemption policies for USDC trivially, and Circle then can run go-to-market (not the Fed's strength). There's some real synergies here, and the fact that USDC is always well-integrated into crypto rails is the real tailwind.
Opensea and Coinbase should merge; leverage Coinbase’s on-ramps and own on retail; focus on cross-selling everything from DeFi to NFTs and everything in between.
