The name of this rune is associated with the Uro, a species of bison in extinction, whose size was bigger than the buffalo and the bull, similar to that of the elephant. According to Norse tradition, at the age of 15, boys were transformed into men through a ritual hunting of the Uro. A strong, agile and aggressive animal, not tameable.
Hunting it was an act of honor, besides demanding strength and courage.
