Wall Street tycoons are pouring out statements questioning the Federal Reserve's ability to manage inflation. Renowned economist El Erian said in an interview with Bloomberg TV on the 25th (local time) that “financial markets are beginning to ‘doubt’ whether the Fed will be able to meet its 2% inflation target.” He is an economist who served as CEO and co-investment manager of Allianz. His comments came after the Federal Reserve's most important indicator, Personal Consumer Expenditure (PCE), was announced higher than expected.
