146 . Deconstructing Berlin (black and white structure) Half-photogrammetry

After finishing the structure of #DeconstructingBerlin and before starting the watercolour ( lenstube.xyz/watch/0xd3a4-0x0600 ) I found myself in front of a question: what if I would like to use the base as it was (in black and white) to make different versions of the same drawing?

In order to do that, I'd certainly need to scan the drawing before putting any colour. But I wasn't at home and even at home I just have an A4 scanner, so in any case it gets a bit cumbersome to scan several parts and then join them in Photoshop.

To solve the problem I decided to do a photogrammetry with my phone. What is photogrammetry? I have already talked a bit about it here: lenster.xyz/posts/0xd3a4-0x05f0 . With photogrammetry we can reconstruct 3D models but also flat or low-relief surfaces.

This way, I ensured a super quality scan and the possibility to do the watercolour without any worry for loosing the structure. Today I did the reconstruction of the structure and I wanted to share the process with all of you.
