125 . Labyrinth 01 (III, last session!)

Watercolour and creative meeting

I wasn't expecting to finish Labyrinth 01 today. Not after yesterday's session, in which I felt so "nicely exhausted of painting" that I thought "well, that was enough for this week, I need to recharge my creative batteries". I wasn't expecting it... but then C. appeared.

C. is a sweet Brazilian woman who came to my stand at the Mauerpark some weeks ago. She arrived in Berlin just one month ago and is still discovering the city for the first time. After her visit we spoke a couple of times and finally today we managed to meet at Someone Loves You.

When I have a creative meeting I don't think in advance what I am going to draw or paint. I just decide once I'm there. And so I did today. When I opened my folder, I saw yesterday's drawing and said: "this is it, today I finish this drawing".

So, I completed a last layer of painting and shadows and finished the drawing. What should I say my dear reader? I'm extremely glad with the results, I love the game of depths and perspectives. I think this will definitively be one of favourite drawings from the "new era".
