Persepolis | Sights of Shiraz Naghsh-e Rostam is a necropolis located about 6 kilometers from Persepolis. It contains the tombs of several Achaemenid kings, including Darius the Great and Xerxes the Great. The Kaaba-ye Zartosht (Kaaba of Zoroaster) is also located at Naghsh-e Rostam. It is a rectangular chamber that is carved into the side of a cliff. The chamber is thought to have been used as a fire temple by Zoroastrians.
