Do we need a $korudao token and why?
Let me know your ideas.

I think we don't need one because we fan use our NFTs and $matic for everything we need. But maybe I am missing something.

      Regarding decentralization, a governance token totally makes sense.
      Reading the comments, a lens handle as governance token is also quite a cool idea. A fair distribution is essential and in that regard i don't know how this looks like for the lens handles.

        ​$lens isnt required but if they are planning on tge they might use it for

        1. Governance
        2. incentives for projects
        3. way to monetize content
        4. increase security and monetize validators
        5. payment method for content creators or users

              Your lens handle (nft) could be the gouvernance token.
              You could leave it as 1 handle = 1 voting power (+ proof of humanity to avoid multiple accounts)
              You could also increase voting power for handles that are really active. (But find a way to exclude fake activity/bots)

                No project is too big to fail, matic can fail tommorrow and le​​ns can easily decouple and continue it's journey.

                  We need governance token to decentralize the platform, for voting and staking and making governance decision. Securing the network. Giving the project back to the community. which will make it sustainable as there will be no centralized CEO who can wake up with his own personal and selfish decision which can kill the reputation of the project. Decentralization is a key to achieve mass adoption​ ​and free speech​and longevity.
