I love what @oohlala.lens @buttrfly.lens and @beatsapp.lens are doing.
When I started collecting music NFTs on Lens, I really wanted to have a place where I could listen to my collection, similar to having a playlist on a streaming service, but with music NFTs that I owned. OohLaLa initially solved that.
As I started using Buttrfly more often, @0xmoe.lens kept rolling out amazing, audio-specific updates providing a similar experience, but exclusive to Lens drops. I can easily discover new music on the regular while using the app (the playlist feature that runs in the background is dope).
I’m planning on dropping my next piece with Beats/Riff so I’m a little biased, but I love the community of artists around this project. They are getting behind web3 music producers, and finding ways of bringing new liquidity to the music NFT space on Lens. I think the key thing happening here is cross-pollination between music NFT platforms. For instance, you can publish a snippet of music on Lens via Beats/Riff, make it collectible, and use that to populate an allowlist for a drop on @soundxyz_.lens or @decentxyz.lens
My two cents; Lens music NFTs are providing collectors with a new listening experience, access to artists drops and allowlists across various platforms, and discovery of new artist communities in the space. That’s just the start tho, I imagine… ✅
On a bigger-picture level, definitely check out what @ryanfox.lens is seeing down the road.
