John Carpenter is an amazingly diverse director taking on many angles of sci-fi, horror, and never shying away from social messages in his films. He also wrote and performaed the music for many of his films including Halloween's iconic theme. But he was credited as "The Bowling Green Philharmonic Orchestra."
