Many of you might have received the "ConsenSys zkEVM private beta endpoints are now live." mail by now.

Testing this zkEVM might increase the chances of securing Metmask or Infura's $MASK or $INFURA airdrops respectively.

Let's try it out in this step-by-step guide...🧵

✅ Guide:

  1. Open the mail and click on the login link.

  2. Login using your email id and password.

  3. Click "Create New Key", select network as "Web3 API" and create a name for your project.

  4. After creating the key, scroll down and copy the "ConsenSys zkEVM" link.

  5. Now, open this link: goerli.zkevm.consensys.net/

and paste the copied "ConsenSys zkEVM endpoint" URL.

  1. Next, Connect, Add network, and Check Goerli ETH balance.

Now, if you don't have ETH on Goerli, you can claim using this faucet: goerlifaucet.com/

  1. Bridge ETH from Goerli to zkEVM. (Now it will be successful, only if your address is whitelisted)

  2. Now you are ready to test out the network by using the DApps listed here: goerli.zkevm.consensys.net/explore
