What was everyone's first video game console, and what games did you play on it?
This includes computers like the Commodore 64, before dedicated home consoles.
Mine was the NES with Super Mario and Duck Hunt. The light gun would never work properly though lol
I had an Atari 2600. I played a lot of Pitfall, Frogger and Pole Position. Was very disappointed when I made it to the far right of Pitfall and there was no more area to explore.
Mine was NES also. Let me know if you think taking out the cartridge and blowing on it and sticking it back in actually did anything. Super Mario and Boulderdash all day!
Had a Vic 20, I don’t remember what I played, I remeber doing a lot of basic programs. We had the old Atari as well, played pac man on that a lot. NES, check, duck hunter and Mario brothers.
Then we got an xt pc, that was pretty amazing. Leisure Suit Larry on that beast.
My first console was the atari xegs, already outdated at that time (1990), and the classic game donkey kong, but i was very young so my memories are a bit blurry.
Mine was the Sega Gear. I thought, "why have a smaller monochrome screen when I can have a full 256 color screen to play Sonic with?."
NES duckhunt (still own the clickity gun lol). Favorite was N64, and of course 007 Goldeneye multiplayer...oh those dang proximity mines!
Spectrum sinclair 48k, games typed in BASIC because haved some issues with dataset and cant load the tapes
Mine, really mine was the gba. But my older brother had super nintengo 64 too and older one that I didn't get to play.
Nintendo and ofc super mario, but the console I really grew up with was PS1 ! Especially games like crash bandicoot and FIFA ⚽️ and of course Tomb Raider
After which I moved to gameboy advanced > Nintendo>Sega >PS1>PSP >Ps2>Pc Games>PS3>PS4
