actually, I don't see a bull run in the short term. maybe 2025+.
I think the next bull run - if any - will be based on many more people entering the space. to those people it will be critical to see a real use case and a smooth UX. any DeFi or DAO utilities are not relevant to newcomers. so I'd say, it's some NFT utility and to a lesser likelihood, web3 social.
web3 social is difficult. currently, it's mostly copying web2 apps like Twitter and FB. but why should people leave those apps if the UX of web3 apps mostly isn't competitive with them? decentralization, ownership,... are not relevant to most users. this has already been identified in the 2000s when people actually had a choice between those apps and decentralized approaches.
web3 social has to find its own use case.
