wild question: does anything like a DeFi investment advisory service exist? like: consolidate my token portfolio according to certain risk parameters (rather conservative with stables and ETH or full on degen or anything in between).
bonus point a): across various chains
bonus point b): fully automated, i.e. it's a smart contract (or various contracts) and have as little costs as possible
bonus point c): adjust the allocation of tokens depending on market conditions
end result: only a few tokens to achieve the goal

This comment raises a valid concern about the risks associated with an external entity controlling user funds for investment purposes. It also highlights the potential of smart contracts to provide a more secure and automated approach to portfolio management in DeFi.

The mention of Defillama suggests that the commenter believes they have the necessary expertise and infrastructure to provide such services in a trustworthy and effective manner. It would be interesting to explore further whether Defillama or other projects are working on such solutions, and whether they can meet the criteria of being cross-chain, fully automated, and able to adjust token allocation based on market conditions.

This is an interesting question. There are indeed some DeFi investment advisory services that offer portfolio consolidation and management based on certain risk parameters. Some of these services are designed to work across various chains, offering users greater flexibility and choice.

In terms of automation, there are also some platforms that use smart contracts to manage investment portfolios, reducing the need for human intervention and lowering costs. Additionally, some services offer dynamic allocation of tokens depending on market conditions, which can help to optimize returns while minimizing risk.

Overall, while there are certainly challenges and risks associated with investing in DeFi, there are also some innovative solutions emerging that can help investors to achieve their goals in a more efficient and effective way.

Maybe take a look at dhedge even if it's only partially what you are looking for.

I think it exist in the form of Vaults, like for example InstaDapp Lite lite.instadapp.io/

So they are kind of strategies that you could change. I would love to see more of these and some sort of standards actually on how these strategies are reviewed and audited from the risk perspective

                  • 👀 I'm not aware of such advisory, but it didn't end well the last few times when an entity controlled user funds to generate profits, albeit those weren't via smart contracts.

imo the only entity well positioned to offer such services (using smart contracts) are the folks at Defillama.
