sooo, I've been playing with this zk stuff a little bit the last couple of days.

couldn't be bothered to wait for zkSync Era support in Argent and connected with Metamask. bridged some ETH on the official zkSync bridge to play. but I have only interacted with mute.io so far.

eventually, downloaded @braavos.lens for StarkNet. yeah, it's another stark wallet, can't import the Argent X one (because the wallets are deployed as smart contracts?). anyway, minted a new stark ID (I guess, I can also transfer the one minted with Argent X?) and had a look at JediSwap and mySwap. transferred DAI and most ETH from the Argent X wallet. and eventually, transferred all Goerli ETH as well.

quite some fun. and @larryscruff.lens is right regarding speed on StarkNet. hopefully, this will improve.

Yea been dabbling on zksync era main net. Gas is still pricey when compared to optimistic roll ups.. May be that will improve? But otherwise pretty similar experience. I have yet to understand what the real difference in tech is between zk and optimistic roll ups. I tried syncswap and it was pretty smooth.

overall my experience with starknet (particularly @argent.lens + @braavos) still feels a bit clunky

You also can't transfer eth between argent x and braavos. I've mo idea why. Also, check out syncswap on zkSync Era!
