I take magnesium powder right after my gym sessions and guess it does help (I read it should)) but honestly I think I just got used feeling sore from time to time. With consistent training you either feel strong without soreness or just don't care about it anymore. With serious DOMS you just push through the pain so that it heals way faster, I promise. Tldr: no magic pill ;-)
Keep training more and the DOMS disappears. Then it becomes difficult because soreness = gains so need to change training routine 😅
eating a banana post workout for the potassium, stretching, lots of water
gn ! sauna if possible! otherwise stretching every morning for 5 min
Stretching has helped me so far. I try to stretch for about 15-20 minutes targeting that muscle but then do an overall stretch too to feel better. Alternate hold-cold shower also helps like pouring warm water and then cold.
I know its a cliché by now but cold showers really help me patch sore muscles. That being said, I hate it 🥶 so I usually reserve the final couple mins of normal showering for max cold exposure just for the affected area.
Blood flow is the key. Anything you can do to increase that. I like to use sauna, stretching and light exercise.
One of my coaches always says “movement is medicine” when I complain about being sore. 😊
