The first version of Xocolatl's main contracts is live on Polygon Mainnet under xocolatl.finance
We are seeking support from the Lens Protocol and Polygon communities to help us cultivate the DeFi ecosystem in Mexico.
Visit xocolatl.club for more about the project and join our movement.

The first way to get involved is to mint some $XOC. Here it is in 5 easy steps:

      1. Go to xocolatl.finance
      2. Connect your wallet in Polygon Mainnet
      3. Deposit some WETH
      4. Mint some XOC

That's it, with that you are already helping us spread the idea of a new paradigm of money in Mexico. You can always repay (or burn) the XOC you just minted to withdraw your collateral, but it is the first brick of the DeFi ecosystem Mexico badly needs.

What else you can do with XOC?
You can buy, sell or provide liquidity in our UniswapV3 pool:
      app.uniswap.org/#/swap?inputCurrency=0xa411c9Aa00E020e4f88Bc19996d29c5B7ADB4ACf&outputCurrency=0x2791Bca1f2de4661ED88A30C99A7a9449Aa84174&chain=polygon

And also check out our stable 2mxn Curve pool which we started in partnership with our friends at Jarvis with their jMXN stablecoin:

        Why support this crowdfunding?
Xocolatl is built from grassroots contributions from hackers and entrepreneurs trying to build the DeFi ecosystem that Mexico badly needs. The transparency and decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies are what Latin America has been lacking to make any progress against corruption in the state. Any help goes to growing the protocol and thus emboldens more people in Mexico to try out our stablecoin and transition to web3. 馃崼馃尶
