in my country between 50 to 60+ above considered old based on age alone
I think it's still 60-70 years old, but everything is decided by your lifestyle, someone at 40-50 already behaves like a grumpy old man who can't do anything
80 is old man. I work with geriatric patients and you don’t even notice these75 years olds as old until you see em
Depend on who you ask the question.
I will say 60 now, and in 10 years I will say 70 😂
I think it depends on how you feel and what you do. I know 70-year-old Kung Fu trainer still super active - runs, fights. It's hard to call someone like that old. I also know 30-year-olds who can't walk a flight of stair without losing breath. Defeated by life. Do nothing but complain. And that's I would call OLD.
New age definitions:
7-10 Teenage
11-14 young adult
14-22 Adult
23-33 Older adult
33-42 Old
42 - 55 Too old
56+ boomer from another world
60, will be 70 soon enough. Having said that, you can still be old and wrecked at 55, but do not have to.
I think it is very individual. There are 40 year old with a body and mind of a 60 year old and 60 year olds who are perceived young compared.
When I was a teenager, people my age now—and I’m forty-seven—seemed like old folks to me. Today, even seventy-year-olds, people my parents' age, don’t seem old to me. Ninety-year-olds, well, I can consider them old.
I’m going with 70. Biased since I’m 40 next year but look at LeBron at 40. Look at Gianluca Vacchi at 50. Almost makes 60 look prime for established and successful gentlemen (and women) leaders. We were about to have TWO presidential candidates pushing 80 for fux sake 🤣
You know, I feel old at 45, but there are people who are young at 60. So I think the most important thing is not the age on your identity card, but the age you feel.
