I keep noticing that a lot of the web3 social experiences skew towards microblogging. I think its mainly because most of the crypto community is networking around x/reddit. There is a wide open space to build completely new experiences to a new audience that is untapped. I think it might take a team with a combination of web3 and non-web3 founders. I think we should also build Lens to be more approachable for non-web3 builders to achieve this goal.

  • I'd love to see a web3 forums platform.

I would assume that a lot are just not aware that they can build something in web3 which could be a great addition to their (maybe existing) web2 products.

Most social apps today have viral effect ( e.g TikTok) and the onboarding process is easy.

We must think like the web3 to tap the into the big numbers before web3 perfects it.

It will take time but it's achievable.

IT depends on the audience you have in mind. Digital products is an interesting field, since it fits well with crypto and usually attracts early adopters. A platform where you can create and sell educational content in video/written forms.
