In which asset you would prefer to receive collect fees (be honest, can also be fiat)?
USDC/USDT, coz its stable and it indicates the user paid 1 or 2 USDC even after bear market it doesn't change whereas in case of wMatic or ETH, it does make a difference. Someone would argue, what if in a Bull Market? I agree but we can not rely on the mood of the market. So I prefer USDC/USDT ✌️

Being able to just choose any asset would be best.

0Currently, there's UX friction to approve spending module for each currency separately. Many have WMATIC approved already and if they have to collect with something else, e.g. USDC, there are additional actions involved. This could be a reason WMATIC is de facto spend currency on Lens, as artists set collect fees to create least resistance for collectors. However, me and many others would probably choose something else to both spend and receive.
As a creator, I will take what collectors are ready to pay with. Ideally, that could be decoupled (e.g., user collects with MATIC, I receive ETH).
If I could really choose - ETH or USDC would be best. Lens token could also work, but that's another story still to unfold :) Fiat is not that bad either, but it would mean additional dependencies and data links.
