Wow, I just came across this really interesting article on Ethresear.ch about the potential attack vectors that restaking introduces in the security model of a blockchain network. It's crazy how many factors you have to consider when assessing the security of a network, and this article does a great job of highlighting the importance of looking at the shared security model crypto economically.

What I found particularly interesting was the comparison the author made between restacking and bridges. Essentially, the security of the network is only as strong as its weakest link, so if the least secure network in the shared security model re-stakes its power, it could potentially compromise the overall security of the network. It's definitely something that needs to be taken into consideration when designing and assessing blockchain networks.
