Ofc a plus factor to get people here are monetary incentives through collects. People feel immediate value that way and it gives a basic motivation to do more. Let us not judge people for this reason. Because others really don鈥檛 know much about the value of data ownership and privacy to make them switch here.鉁岋笍
But come to think of it, rn, 100 BONSAI = only at null+. And 1000 BONSAI = almost $12 which may not be too enticing for some to even post their work. And recently, it鈥檚 hard to get your work collected. But for me, it鈥檚 better than nothing (and better than in web2 e.g. my YT videos are not even monetized because of follower requirement).
If posts are not collected, I still find enjoyment interacting with people I already know here. My lens frens. And also in clubs where I share similar interests with other people. Also learning here, about nutrition, skincare, spa sauna, lens algorithm marketplace, context, touch grass weekly, etc.
I still believe in what is being built here. Which is to improve the status quo. That鈥檚 all. Brb. Time to relax, watch, check memes, draw later. Tomorrow touch grass. 鉁岋笍馃尡馃崈
